Due to the fact that during xmas no one is in charge of doing support, I got the recommendation from Bressner Envox Syntellect support to reboot the system once a day.
Next year everything will be better – and the support team will solve the problem.
To get a proper support for the license issue I tried to reach the syntellect support call center.
Somehow frustrated I stopped my activities to find help …
wow – receiving the xmas-whishes from our support partner (www.bressner.eu) for our envox syntellect platform should have been a hint that the entire company is unavailable – including the support team!!!
Unfortunatly we still have the problem that our purchased and permanent license file swaps to a temporay license file without any reasons. Hence our entire systems is disconnecting from the network and our services are unreachable.
To know that we have purchased a “premium support package” does really hurt!!
Bad news – it seems that we have a license problem with envox syntellect. Although we have ordered a regular permanent license file it is now expired and our entire platform is disconnected.
Due to a restart the systems is in a grace mode and so we have aprox. 2 days to fix the problem.
It is too bad that a license problem is able to disconnect a service. A warning would be acceptable but going “off-hook” – unbelievable
After getting a good price for the missing fax licenses for HMP (Dialogic) we got further support hints from envox syntellect but we are a little bit hopeless to get fax running …
The help text of Syntellect (formerly known as Envox) concerning fax is not very helpful and sometimes quite confusing, when you just want to recieve fax messages with the same script that should also answer voice calls.
The support of Syntellect (and their partner Bressner) was unsatisfactory: long waiting times for an answer of the Syntellect experts, and some of these answers weren’t helpful at all (e.g. similar abstract information as in the help files)
Bressner Technology informs us they did not sell us the neccessary HMP (Dialogic) licenses which are necessary for receicing faxes on the envox syntellect plattform.
